Exhibitor profile

On the banks of the Torne river, the meandering borderline between Sweden and Finland, cows graze the green grass far above the Arctic circle. This is farm country. This is Pesula country.
The Pesula Farm has been situated in Kukkola since the early twentieth century. Vilhelm Pesula broke the land, now the grandson Per and his wife Åsa runs the place with tradition – and innovation. Their automatic dairy farm also produces new crops and inspiring ideas.

The thirteenth month is what the locals call it. The long, bright summer nights, the midnight sun that never sets. This is one of the reasons why crops grow as far north as Kukkola in Swedish Lapland. This is also the reason to the unike taste of Pesula´s mustard – probably the northernmost produced in the world. The rape and mustard seeds are grown, harvested, milled and mixed right on the Pesula Farm, never leaving the Torne River Valley. Until now, that is
